Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of aminostation.com, its subdomains, and every order you place with AminoStation LLC ("AminoStation", "we", "us"). By browsing the site, submitting an access application or completing a purchase, you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order. When we update the Terms, continuing to use the site after the update means you accept the new version (see §12).

Catalog access is granted by application only. To apply, and to keep your access, you must:

• be at least 21 years old and of legal age where you live;
• be a researcher, or be authorized to procure research materials for a laboratory, academic institution, company or agency;
• give accurate, complete information in your application and keep it current;
• not be located in, or ship to, a jurisdiction where the Materials are restricted.

Every application is reviewed by a person. We may decline, limit or revoke access at any time and are not obliged to give a reason.

The Materials are supplied strictly for in vitro and pre-clinical laboratory research. You agree that you will not administer them to any person or animal, and will not use them for diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, dietary or any other unapproved purpose.

You are solely responsible for the safe handling, storage, labeling and disposal of the Materials, for following your institution's safety rules, and for confirming that your intended use is lawful where you are. Misuse, or credible evidence of misuse, ends your access immediately.

Acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship, and we may cancel any order before then, for example because of a stock shortage, a pricing mistake or a compliance concern. If we cancel, we refund whatever you paid for that order.

Pricing & taxes

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, plus any sales tax we are required to collect and the shipping option you choose. If a listed price is obviously wrong, we may cancel the affected order and let you know.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is processed by a third-party provider; we never see or store full card numbers. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank so we can fix it faster.

Orders ship from the United States. Temperature-sensitive Materials ship with appropriate packaging and on schedules that avoid weekend transit where possible. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the package; we will help you file a claim if a shipment is lost or damaged.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address. Packages that are refused, undeliverable or returned because of an address error may be reshipped at your cost.

For deliveries outside the United States you are the importer of record. You are responsible for duties, taxes and for confirming that the Materials may lawfully be imported into your country.

We do not use passwords. You sign in with a single-use code sent to the email address on your approved application. Keep that mailbox secure: anything done with a code sent to your address is treated as done by you.

Access is personal to the researcher or organization that applied. Do not share codes, forward catalog links or let anyone else order under your approval. Tell us straight away at research@aminostation.com if you think your access has been misused.

While using the site or the Materials you agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, gift or otherwise transfer the Materials outside an approved research setting;
• give false information in an application, or apply on behalf of someone who would not qualify;
• attempt to bypass the access gate, probe our systems or interfere with the service;
• scrape, copy or republish catalog content, pricing or documents;
• use the site or the Materials for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section without notice.

If you give us a mobile number and opt in, we may send order updates and occasional announcements by SMS. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

The site, its design, text, images, product documentation and the AminoStation name and mark belong to AminoStation or our licensors. You may view and print catalog pages for your own research purchasing, and nothing else, without our written permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without any obligation to you.

The site and the Materials are provided as is. Beyond the specifications stated on a product's certificate of analysis, we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Certificates of analysis describe the tested batch and are provided for information only.

To the fullest extent the law allows, AminoStation's total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost data, lost research time or lost profit.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless AminoStation, its officers, employees and suppliers from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use, misuse or transfer of the Materials or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

If you have a problem, email us first. We will work with you in good faith for 30 days to resolve it. If that does not work, any remaining dispute will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis only. You may instead bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. Both of us waive any right to a jury trial or to take part in a class action.

Any claim must be started within one year of the event that gave rise to it, or it is barred.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and we will email approved researchers about any material change before it takes effect.
